Hand Hygiene: A Handbook for Medical Professionals is the first comprehensive, authoritative review of one of the most fundamental and important issues in infection control and patient safety, hand hygiene.
This review on Hand Hygiene includes a chapter on Institutional safety climate which is co-authored by Professor Alison Holmes, Director at the NIHR Helath Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in HCAI and AMR and Dr Enrique Casto Sanchez, HPRU Lead Research Nurse and ARC Early Career Research Fellow with Professor Didier Pittet.
The Hand Hygiene review has been developed and presented by world leaders in this area and fully integrates the World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines and polices. The review also offers a global perspective in tackling hygiene issues in developed and developing countries as well as covering basic and highly complex clinical applications of hand hygiene practices. In addition, guidance directed at individual, institutional and organizational levels is also offered for national and worldwide hygiene promotion campaign.
