The Annual Symposium, entitled "Bioelectronics and Beyond", was held on 16th June 2016, and featured an invited lecture by Prof George Malliaras.
The CPE was delighted to welcome Prof George Malliaras (Head of Department of Bioengineering at Ecole des Mines de St Etienne), to give the CPE Annual Lecture 2016 – “Interfacing with the Brain using Organic Electronics”. The Symposium demonstrated the breadth of CPE research, with talks from PhD students, postdocs and academics that spanned bioelectronics, PV, spectroscopy, transistors, click chemistry and paper!
Congratulations to the poster prize winner, Alexandra Paterson, and the runners up, Sebastian Pont and Jochen Brandt. Thanks to TCI Chemicals for sponsoring the poster prizes, and to Rob Baker of TCI Chemicals for coming along to the Symposium.
