A chemistry graduate of Queens University Belfast, Richard Surginor, joins the group for a 9 month research placement.
Richard Surginor graduated from Queens University Belfast, Northern Ireland in June 2015 with a 1st class MSci degree in Chemistry. His project focuses on the development of a triple-filter device for improving the quality of stored human packed red blood cells. The project is co-supervised by Dr Greg Quinlan (Imperial NHLI) and Dr Nathan Davies (UCL, hepatology).
