Helping blind and partially-sighted students into work
Learn without barriers and achieve your ambitions with Blind in Business.
Blind in Business is a charity that helps sight impaired graduates into work. We have helped people into jobs at the BBC, Rothschild, BT, the Civil Service, Allen and Overy and many more.
We offer specialist advice (on disclosure, reasonable adjustments, Access to Work), personalised career planning and grad scheme prep (mock interviews, psychometric test prep, presentation practice). We run speed interview and job-training events and can offer mentoring through our network of VI young professionals and graduate employers.

Blind in Business
"My name is Jessica Luke and I am a sight-impaired graduate from Warwick University who had a difficult time job-hunting, before securing a place on a marketing graduate scheme. I am now working fulltime at Blind in Business. My colleague Justin has helped hundreds of visually impaired people into work through the Blind in Business Employment Service and last year he supported the first ever sight impaired graduate into a role with British Airways. At this event we’ll be sharing our tips to help sight impaired students into work. You will also be able to speak to Eros Adamides, an Imperial Alumni working in IT at the Bank of America. Eros will be able to offer you advice and answer your questions".
Date: Wednesday 19 October
Time: 14:00 - 16:00
Location: Careers Service Seminar Room, level 5 Sherfield Building, South Kensington Campus
