As this year's Welcome Week begins, Imperial welcomes its new intake of undergraduate students.
New Imperial students from across the globe arrived on campus this weekend for the start of their first term at the College.
Over 2500 undergraduates are beginning their Imperial journeys this week, settling in to new accommodation, new subjects and beginning new friendships.
A packed week lies ahead. Monday kicks off with the I-Connect event in the Queen’s Tower Rooms. The new interactive event is a one-stop-shop to help new students connect with the Imperial community, and to gather information about key support services available.
On Tuesday, Imperial College Union’s Freshers’ Fair gives students the chance to discover more than 350 clubs, societies and projects that they could get involved with over the coming year.
Sport Imperial’s Sports Trials will be taking place on Wednesday - a chance for students to try something new or get involved with their favourite sport here at the College.
There’s also opportunities to get involved in volunteering with Mass Volunteering Wednesday, new students’ first chance to sample some of the volunteering opportunities are open to them at the College.
The annual Freshers' Ball will bring Welcome Week to a close in style on Friday evening with a host of DJ’s including Nicola Bear (Ibiza Rocks) and Dev (Radio 1), as well as live music from Imperial’s Jazz & Rock society.
