A number of current and former researchers from the Structures Section made an appearance in Cape Town recently.
They presented papers at the Sixth International Conference of Structural Engineering, Mechanics and Computation held in Cape Town between the 5th and 7th September 2016.
As part of the Conference, Professors Leroy Gardner and Ahmer Wadee organised a special session entitled "Steel Structures: Nonlinear Behaviour and Design" which attracted some 20 presentations from researchers from various countries.
The photo accompanying this report was taken at the conference dinner.
