Following negotiations with Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust, a new library space at the Chelsea and Westminster campus is being constructed.
The works to create the new library space will commence on Monday 24 October. During the construction work there will be some disruption to services as follows:
Library space
The library will remain open but there will be no access to the quiet study area. Users will continue to have access to the PCs and printer, library staff will be available, there will be limited study space and the opening hours will remain the same.
Inevitably, there will be some noise disruption but we will work with the NHS Trust to keep noisy works to a minimum during busy times.
Library books
Users will not be able to access books that are held in the Chelsea and Westminster Campus Library.
If you require a book, it will be sent from another library for you to collect at Chelsea and Westminster. Please allow at least 2 days for books to arrive.
Please speak to a member of library staff if you need further information.
New library space
We expect the new library space to be available from Monday 28 November and we will let you know nearer the time once we have a definite date for the new library opening.
