Doris Pappoe awarded Imperial College Medal
At 2016 Commemoration Day Ceremony
Many congratulations to Doris Pappoe who was awarded an Imperial College Medal at the Commemoration Day Ceremony which took place at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday 19 October.
With over 30 years in the Department Doris has supported over 1,000 students in her role as PG Administrator with great commitment and enthusiasm. And it is for this consistent dedication to education that the College honoured Doris with this highly prestigious medal.
A further testament to the esteem that Doris is held in can be found in the flood of thanks and best wishes from staff and students past and present that have been sent to Doris via old media and new to congratulate her on her award.
Doris said: "It was an amazing experience sitting on the stage of the Royal Albert Hall and stepping up to receive my medal from Professor Alice Gast. I had a wonderful day."
