Enrique receives nomination for the first NIHR Post-Doctoral Training Camp
The camp will give Enrique the opportunity to develop his post-doctoral career and network with peers and experienced clinical academics
The NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in HCAIs and AMR is delighted to announce that Enrique Castro Sanchez, Lead Research Nurse and ARC Early Career Research Fellowhas been nominated to the first NIHR Post Doctoral Training camp which has been funded by Imperial BRC.
The programme is aimed at doctors, nurse or allied health professionals who are involved with clinical research, who have recently completed their PhD studies and are looking to further their research career.
At this first post-doctoral training camp, the programme will bring together a group of experienced researchers who will tackle recurring problems and barriers and hope to provide participants with bespoke solutions to enable them to maximise the experiences that they have obtained through your PhD and move onto the next step of the clinical academic ladder.
Nominations from applicants within the NIHR infrastructure were secured through a competitive process.
The programme runs from 29-30 November.
On a separet note, more good news for Enrique who was nominated as Finalist of the Gamification World Congress awards in Madrid, October 2016. Enrique’s Antibiotic Prescribing Game On call: antibiotics was in the finalist category Best Health & Wellness Project.
Gamification World Congress was founded in 2011 as an international meeting point for companies and professionals interested in the use of game mechanics and dynamics in non-recreational areas such as engagement with clients and talent, health and education.
