IAESTE (International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) provides opportunities for undergraduate students to undertake a paid internship while gaining valuable international experience. IAESTE is open to science, engineering, technology and applied arts undergraduate students in the second year of study and above (including final year) and placements are available in a range of countries. The majority of placements take place during the summer and are for 6 to 12 weeks, although longer placements are occasionally available.
