Library Services are pleased to announce that early indications are that a project to improve the temperature at Central Library will begin in 2017.
This project is phase 2 of a larger project which began in 2014. Phase 2 aims to address the ongoing problems with cooling and ventilation in the building.
The full programme of work is currently being refined by College, but we anticipate that the extensive building programme will begin in the Summer 2017 vacation period, subject to approval by College. Prior to that there will be some enabling works from January 2017.
