Congratulations to Dr Camille Petit on receiving a Silver Medal award from the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3).
The award is typically given to an early career researcher who has made an outstanding contribution within the materials, minerals or mining sectors.
Dr Petit has made significant contributions to the fields of materials by designing and investigating new nanostructures for various separation and catalytic applications. She also actively promotes research in this area through outreach and editorial activities.
Upon being informed of her award, Dr Petit said: “It’s always a pleasant feeling when your work is recognised by your peers. This award is a great testimony of my group’s research efforts.”
The Silver Medal will be presented at an awards ceremony in July.
