Congratulations FeedBac!

by Jennie Hutton

Congratulations to FeedBac, who were runners up in the CDT Dragon's Den 2017.

The CDT Den pitches teams of students from the Institute of Chemical Biology Centre for Doctoral Training against each other in a bid to win £10,000 of seed funding for their proposals. Group members Theo Flack, Eloise Morecroft and Charlie Saunders were awarded second place as part of FeedBac, along with other ICB students James Hindley and Jon Rains.

FeedBac is a chemical formulations and diagnostics start-up that aims to produce colour changing formulations to use as quick, affordable and simple bacterial diagnostic tests. They will be continuing to progress the company and hope to produce a prototype soon.
