Festival volunteers share their experiences in video diaries
The vibrancy of 2017's Imperial Festival has been captured by volunteers in the form of video diaries.
The free public event, which was held at Imperial’s South Kensington Campus on 6-7 May, was a big hit with visitors as they engaged with science, engineering and creativity from the College community.
A team of communications volunteers was out and about all weekend to capture the energy and fun of the Festival on social media, as well as audio and video. Now, the experiences of a select handful of volunteers is being showcased in video diaries which they shot, produced and edited themselves.
Healthy discoveries: Lottie’s diary
Science Communication MSc student, Lottie Bingham, takes us on a guided tour of her Festival favourites, from playing dress-up in the Health and Body Zone, to generating energy at the Discover Zone.
Soaking up the creativity: Kenny’s diary
School student, Kenny Ekundayo, gave up her weekend to experience the Imperial Festival for the first time. In her video diary, she showcases her adventures round various zones, from the Performance Tent, to the Continuum interactive art exhibit.
Capturing the energy: Agnese's diary
Agnese Abrusci, who is on Imperial's Science Media Production MSc, showcased her video shooting and editing skills with a personal tour of the Imperial Festival, including the packed programme of musical and dance performances.
