Jan 2017 - Three New Erasmus Students and a BSc Student Join the Group
Pol, Adrian & Lukas join the group as Erasmus students from the University of Barcelona, EPFL & ETH Zurich respectively. Monish also joins the group.
Pol Hernandez is a BSc student at the University of Barcelona. He joins the group as an exchange student and is currently working on asymmetric phosphorylation via atropisomeric pyridine-N-oxide catalysis. He is sponsored by the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme.
Adrian Gheata is a 3rd year BSc student at EPFL, Lausanne. He joins the group as an exchange student at Imperial College London and is currently working on the asymmetric desymmetrisation of meso-diols by asymmetric sulfonylation.
Lukas Laetsch is a BSc student at ETH Zurich. He joins the group as a visiting student and is currently working on the total synthesis of Cordigol. He is sponsored by the Swiss-European Mobility Programme.
Monish Paul Nakhwal joins the group as an Imperial College BSc student and is currently working on radiofluorination of germanium substitutes for toxic aryl stannanes used in PET imaging as part of his final year project.
