Open Accelerator Italy have opened their call for ideas and are looking for potential start-up businesses in medical areas.
Open Accelerator is a business accelerator in Milan which is funded by Zambon, an Italian pharmaceutical company.
If you have ideas for a business start-up in the fields of medical technology and life sciences then Open Accelerator could be for you. They have opened their call for ideas and are looking for potential start-up businesses operating in any of the following areas:
- medical devices
- biomarkers
- diagnostics technology
- wearables and digital health
- big data
- drug delivery systems.
The Programme:
Open Accelerator offers a 12 week intensive course for 30 selected start-up ideas. You will receive business training, complete a range of assignments and be matched with a business mentor. At the end of the programme you will pitch to Italian and European investors, including Zambon. Zambon will offer a number of companies funds of up to 100,000 Euros, 6 months free business/lab space in their offices in Milan and business mentoring.

Applications should be made by 16 July 2017
