

Dr Michael Templeton has been awarded approximately £1.5m from EPSRC to lead a new Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) project.
Dr Templeton, who is a Reader in the EWRE section, will be leading the project entitled 'WISER: Water Infrastructure for Schistosomiasis-Endemic Regions'. The partners are Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia), The National Institute of Medical Research (Tanzania), and the Natural History Museum.
Dr Templeton has also been asked to serve as a panellist on the Swedish Research Council's Natural, Engineering and Environmental Sciences Development Research Review Panel, which decides grant funding to international development-focused science and engineering projects.
