Sequential Simulation in action

Researcher sought for an innovative project that aims to improve the experience of patients and families at St Mary's Hospital.

Imperial College Centre for Engagement and Simulation Science (ICCESS) is looking to recruit a proactive researcher with experience of working in healthcare to join a creative multidisciplinary team and design, deliver and research a range of simulation-based projects as part of the St Mary’s Patient Experience Hub.

The Hub is an exciting collaboration between ICCESS, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Imperial Healthcare Charity. The aim of the Hub is to use simulation to improve the experience of patients and their families at St Mary’s Hospital, London.

A key part of the role will involve using ‘Sequential Simulation’ to re-enact elements of a patient’s journey and identify challenges and potential improvements to patient care, working in close partnership with the Children’s Services team at St Mary’s Hospital.
