Dr Ceire Costelloe presented to a delegation of Hospital Presidents from China about her work at the Data Science Institute in August
August saw the Data Science Institute host a group of hospital Presidents from the Shanghai Institute of Medical Quality from China to attend a programme on Advanced Hospital Quality Management in Big Data, led by Dr Alex Carter and Professor Elias Mossialos from Institute of Global Health Innovation (IGHI).
Dr Ceire Costelloe, Lecturer and Career Development Fellow at the NIHR Health Protection Health Unit in HCAI and AMR gave a presentation on her work on antimicrobial resistance infections which utilises statistical, epidemiological and data visualisation methods to describe and predict infection risk at an individual and a population level. The feedback from the delegates was very positive who were impressed with Dr Costelloe’s projects and the 360 observatory.
