The NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in HCAI and AMR is proud to report that our two PhD students Hannah Lishman and Sabine Bou-Antoun presented at the international GRIN conference in Oslo last weekend. This is the largest international conference on primary care infection research and was hosted this year by The Antibiotic Center of Primary Health Care and The Department of General Practice, University of Oslo.
Hannah presented two talks on "Investigating the burden of antibiotic resistance in minority ethnic communities in high-income countries” as well as "Measuring levels of antibiotic prescribing for urinary tract infections in primary care in England which do not adhere with national prescribing guidelines” and Sabine presented on “Reducing antibiotic use in primary care”.
Both Hannah and Sabine gave outstanding oral presentations and their talks generated lots of discussion at the conference.
