Robotics Forum Industry Day
Over 60 people attended the Robotics Forum 2017 Industry Day, bringing together interested industry players and academics to discuss robotics.
The Imperial College Industry Day was held on Friday, 22nd November at the South Kensington Campus. Organised by the Imperial College Robotics Forum, this events invited interested industry to come and meet researchers active in the robotics domain at Imperial College, and learn more about partnership opportunities.
The event kicked off with an introduction by Prof. Nick Jennings, Vice-Provost of Research, followed by an introduction to Corporate partnerships at Imperial College. After an overview of the Robotics Forum activities, different researchers at Imperial College highlighted successful cases of public-private partnerships between Imperial College and Industry for robotic applications.
Different kinds of industry-Imperial collaborations were showcased; including Cortexica (https://www.cortexica.com), one of the bioengineering department spin-offs from Anil Bharath and the Dyson lab of Andrew Davison and Stefan
