Nichola Naylor's data analysis project results have been used by NHS Improvement on their national tool for CCGs and NHS Trusts
The NIHR Health Protection Research Unit (HPRU) in HCAIs and AMR is delighted to report that PhD Student and Researcher, Nichola Naylor’s data analysis project results from her paper entitled A National Estimate of the Health and Cost Burden of Escherichia coli Bacteraemia in the Hospital Setting: The Importance of Antibiotic Resistance, (paper in submission to journal, pre-print version available here) have been used by NHS Improvement on their national tool for CCGs and NHS Trusts. This is now live and available to access here.
Nichola’s paper has been referenced by NHS Improvement showing direct use of her important work in an NHS Improvement tool for parameterising setting, resistance, mortality and excess bed days.
