Dr Tim Rawson has been awarded the highly prestigious Barnett Christie Lecture and will deliver his lecture in November.
The NIHR Health Protection Research Unit in HCAI and AMR is delighted to report that Clinical Research Fellow Dr Tim Rawson has been awarded the highly prestigious Barnett Christie lecture.
Each year applications from Doctors and scientists who have not yet reached consultant, senior lecturer or top grade scientist status are invited by the British Infection Association (BIA) to deliver this highly prestigious lecture at the Conference of the Federation of Infection Societies. This award recognises excellence in original research.
As recipient of the Barnett Christie Lecture award Tim will be giving a lecture at the annual meeting of the Federation of Infection Societies (FIS), in Birmingham, with the lecture taking place on 30th November. Tim’s lecture is entitled What is the role of biosensors and artificial intelligence in achieving individualised antimicrobial therapy?
As well as presenting this BIA lecture, Dr Rawson will receive £500 and full sponsorship to attend the FIS Conference.
