Lynette Farley and Professor Ed Tate accepted an amazing £30,000 donation on behalf of Cancer Research UK from the Sidcup Ladies Luncheon Club.
The Sidcup Ladies Luncheon Club raised this fantastic sum over the past year to support CRUK researchers.
Professor Tate also gave a talk to the club's AGM on 2nd November 2017, highlighting the exciting CRUK-funded research going on in his lab in the Department of Chemistry and in the Imperial CRUK Centre, Imperial White City, and at the Francis Crick Institute.
