Dr Michael Templeton was the recipient of the International Society for Neglected Tropical Diseases (ISNTD) Water Data Award 2017 recently.
The award was received at the ISNTD conference on the 23rd November.
It is in recognition of the work of Dr Templeton's research group investigating the links between access to water, sanitation and hygiene and schistosomiasis and soil-transmitted helminth infections in Ethiopia.
Dr Michael Templeton has also recently been named a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers.
