Volunteering opportunities at Imperial Festival 2018
Applications are open for all to volunteer at Imperial Festival - the College's flagship celebration of science, engineering and creativity.
Each year hundreds of volunteers lend their time, enthusiasm and skills to the Imperial Festival helping make it a major event in London’s cultural and educational calendars. Anyone can volunteer, whether a staff member, a student or a member of the public who would like to support the College.
More than 250 people from inside and outside the Imperial community sign up to fill a huge variety of volunteer roles, from tour guides to zone assistants, balloon assistants, social media officers and more.

Hard work and enthusiasm
Lara Mistry, Imperial’s Public Engagement Programme Manager, said: “Nearly 20,000 visitors attended the Festival last year. The event simply wouldn’t have been possible without the help of the more than 250 staff, students and members of the public who volunteered. We are so grateful for their hard work and enthusiasm to make the Festival a success.”
