Introducing our five finalists for our Student Challenges Competition
Join us on 19th March as our finalists pitch to win up to £5,000 towards the development of their global health innovation.
Five lucky students have been shortlisted to present at our Student Challenges Dragon’s Den event on Monday 19th March in South Kensington and will compete to win the top prize of £5,000 or the runner up prize of £2,500. Audience members will also have a chance to participate in the event and will decide who wins the third prize of £1,000.

The finalists will pitch to our four esteemed Dragons:
- Dr Richard Smith - IGHI Adjunct Professor, Chairman of Patients Know Best, Director of the UnitedHealth Chronic Disease Initiative, former Editor of the British Medical Journal and Chief Executive of the BMJ Publishing Group;
- Professor Margaret Dallman OBE - Associate Provost (Academic Partnerships) and Professor of Immunology, Imperial College London;
- Dr Will Cavendish, Director, Cities and Transformation at Arup, former Strategy Lead at Applied at DeepMind and former Director General of Innovation, Growth and Technology at the Department of Health.
- Daniel Dickens, Managing Director, HELIX Centre, Institute of Global Health Innovation
