Dr Nisha Ranganathan, CMBI's MRC-funded clinical research training fellow wins Public Health England Target Antibiotics poster prize
In March 2018 Dr Nisha Ranganathan won the PHE Target Antibiotics prize for her poster entitled ‘Staphylococcal Bacteraemia: finding the path of least persistence'. The presentation took place at the British Society of Antimicrobial Chemotherapy’s spring meeting. Nisha is part of Dr Andrew Edwards' research group in the CMBI and studies the antibiotic tolerance of Staphylococcus aureus in the bloodstream.
