Charlie and Andrea Win PG Symposium Prizes!
Many congratulations to Charlie Saunders and Andrea Goya Grocin for their success at the Department of Chemistry's recent postgraduate symposium.
Charlie was awarded the prize for best talk in the Chemical Biology and Healthcare section, for his presentation describing his PhD investigating novel targets in malaria. Whilst working with clickable and photo-affinity probes, Charlie has also developed a series of UV LED light boxes, which he detailed in his talk; you can follow him through @WaveyTech.
Congratulations also go to Andrea, who jointly won the runner-up prize for her poster on her work on lipidation dysregulation in cancer.
Well done to all those students giving talks and posters during the postgraduate symposium, and in particular Tate Group members Eloise Morecroft, Will Joyce, Nattawadee Panyain, and Theo Flack.
