On the 9th October students from across the Quantum Systems Engineering Skills and Training hub gathered for a research update from cohort 1.

The first QSE cohort have now completed one year of their PhD research. A poster session was hosted at Imperial to gather all the students in the hub together for an informal research update. The diversity of research was apparent, and plenty of time was given for questions and discussion between students. The poster session also provided a nice opportunity to introduce the newest student cohort to the breadth of research in the hub.

Special mention goes to David Bretaud and Ross Schofield, who both presented prize-winning posters from recent conferences.
