During the summer, and as part of our building project, Library Services and ICT worked collaboratively to upgrade all Central Library computers.
We upgraded all PCs to the latest operating system, Windows 10, and replaced over 290 PCs with the new HP EliteOne 800 G4 flagship all-in-one model. These new PCs enable a more powerful performance, have a thin profile, micro-edge anti-glare display and the monitor stands allow for height and angle adjustment.
The Central Library now has a grand total of 356 student use PCs, including laptops available to borrow. In our Assistive Technology Room, we also offer larger screens for use by students registered with the Disability Advisory Service.
When logging in to any of the Library public access or loan computers you will be automatically connected to the Software Hub where you can access software applications licensed for use by Imperial students and staff. If you require any assistance just ASK ICT.
