From December 2018 the Central Library will pilot a study break card scheme to help meet student demand for more space.
The scheme allows library users to take breaks of up to 30 minutes, without forfeiting a study space, by simply completing a card and leaving it on the desk they are using.
Users wishing to leave for over 30 minutes, for example to attend classes, will be expected to clear the space and take their belongings with them.
Study Break Cards will be available on all floors of the Central Library and at the Information Hub.
Further information is available at Study Break Cards and Library Services welcome your feedback. Please send your comments to library@imperial.ac.uk.
