Congratulations to our MRes in Drug Discovery Students
Congratulations to our fifteen MRes in Drug Discovery students who received their results last Friday
The Department of Chemistry’s MRes in Drug Discovery and Development is a one-year stand-alone course that involves a nine month interdisciplinary research project. This year the Tate group hosted fifteen students from the course for their research projects and more than ten PhD students and postdocs were involved in supervision across a wide range research areas.
Leigh-Anne Gavin was awarded the Perkin Prize for best overall performance on the course. Leigh-Anne’s research focused on targeting DNA repair in antibiotic resistance and built upon work of our previous MRes students to contribute to a publication in Bioorganic and Medicinal Chemistry.
Congratulations everyone!
