CSEI - 2020 DRUID PhD Academy Conference
On 16 Jan 2020, Alexander Zhou, 2nd year PhD student from the Centre presented his working paper titled The Development of Platforms for Systemic Innovation by Modularization and Vertical Integration of Production Systems in the 2020 DRUID PhD Academy Conference
at Odense, Denmark.
In this presentation, he shared his emerging findings based on case studies from industrialized building firms using platform approaches. He also presented how systemic innovation can be enabled by the co-existence of vertical integration and modularization strategies at the firm level. In the end, he presented future plans of his research and received constructive and valuable feedback from discussants.
