Imperial Enterprise Week 2020 runs online 16 - 20 March
Imperial Enterprise Week 2020, which runs from 16-20 March, aims to highlight the enterprising work of the College community and encourage participation from staff and students in activities including entrepreneurship, commercialisation, consultancy and research partnerships.
Enterprise Week 2020 is now exclusively online. We encourage staff and students from across the College to follow Enterprise on Twitter - @ImperialIdeas – and LinkedIn for updates and stories from Imperial’s entrepreneurial community.
“Now, more than ever, we need to support our academic and student community to come up with innovative solutions to pressing global challenges. During Enterprise Week 2020, please take part in the Enterprising Ideas challenge and follow us on social media to find out how the Enterprise Division can help to make your work go further,” said Dr Simon Hepworth, Director of Imperial’s Enterprise Division.
The Enterprising Ideas Challenge is an invitation to individuals from across the Imperial community to propose technology ideas that address four core themes from the College’s academic strategy – Healthy Society, Sustainable Society, Resilient Society and Smart Society. To share your idea, you can email the Enterprise Division or share your idea on Twitter using the hashtag #InventedAtImperial and tag @ImperialIdeas.
Throughout the week, you’ll also have the opportunity to see:
- Information on Imperial’s top technologies available for licence
- Case studies on our leading female entrepreneurial academics
- Videos exploring some of the myths around getting into entrepreneurship
Enterprise Week 2020 is an opportunity to shine a light on Imperial’s expanding entrepreneurial ecosystem and showcase the wide range of services offered by the College’s Enterprise Division.
“This year, Imperial College London was named the UK’s most innovative university by Reuters, in recognition of our rich and rapidly expanding entrepreneurial ecosystem. Enterprise Week is a chance to celebrate our enterprising community to showcase the wide range of services offered to staff and students by the College’s Enterprise Division”, said Professor Ian Walmsley, Provost, Imperial College London.
