A series of live streamed events about food, gastronomy and science

The team behind Chemical Kitchen - an innovative teaching project at Imperial College London that utilizes the parallels between gastronomy and practical science laboratories - has prepared a series of live streamed events about food, gastronomy and science for all to enjoy.

GastroGeeks is a live Q&A panel discussion streamed weekly on Mondays at 13.30 UK time.

The team answers and discusses questions about food, gastronomy and science asked by viewers and digresses on other related topics. Starting in June, they will engage in discussions with other guests, who range from top class scientists, through gastronomy innovators to even tea experts.

The core team of the panel consists of:

Prof. Roger Kneebone - Professor of Surgical Education and Engagement Science at Imperial, founder of Chemical Kitchen

Chef Jozef Youssef - Founder and Chef Patron of Kitchen Theory, a multi-sensory gastronomy design studio, founder of Chemical Kitchen

Dr Johnny Drain - Materials scientist, writer, chef and fermentation expert at Lyan/Cub

Dr Luke Delmas - Synthetic chemist, co-developer of the Chemical Kitchen project

Dr Jakub Radzikowski - Molecular biologist, chef, and co-developer of the Chemical Kitchen project
