We are pleased to announce that Dr. Cardin to join the Editorial Board of ASME Journal of Mechanical Design as Associate Editor.
We are pleased to announce that Dr. Michel-Alexandre Cardin, a Senior Lecturer in Computational Aided Engineering at the Dyson School of Design Engineering, was recently appointed as Associate Editor for the ASME Journal of Mechanical Design - a flagship journal in Design Engineering research. Dr. Cardin joined Imperial College in March 2019 after spending 7 years as a faculty member at the National University of Singapore, following his PhD at MIT. His research is in Systems Design for uncertainty and flexibility, focusing on enabling more adaptable, sustainable and resilient systems (i.e. energy, space, transportation) through simulations, stochastic optimization and machine learning. He recently served as Guest Editor on a special issue on Analysis and Design of Socio-Technical Systems to appear in ASME JMD in December 2020. He will serve on the Editorial Board until September 2023. Congratulations!
