To achieve net zero pollution before 2050, much of our existing infrastructure needs to be upgraded. Kate spoke to MPs and their teams during Evidence Week 2020 to share the Transition to Zero Pollution agenda; insight on how a systems approach could minimise unintended consequences, with a practical example of retrofitting buildings from her own research. This engagement enabled insight on what they would like to see in their own constituency, to inform research going forward.
