Congratulations to Cassandra Kennedy for successfully defending her PhD thesis
Cassandra was an ICB CDT PhD student whose research was focused on protein lipidation in inflammation and infection. Cassandra employed a chemical biology approach utilising affinity-based probes. This project was conducted in collaboration with Avinash Shenoy (Microbiology).
Cassandra successfully defended the research project in her viva voce today, which was conducted remotely.
In January, Cassandra will be starting a postdoctoral research position at Crick-GSK Linklabs. We wish her all the best for the future.
Congratulations, Dr Kennedy!
