On her four prize wins
PhD student Léonie Strömich (Supervisor: Professor Sophia Yaliraki) has won no less than 4 prizes for her work on Allosteric hotspots in the Main Protease of SARS-CoV-2 at prestigious international symposia (this work was prompted by the first lockdown). Amongst others, she won the 1st poster prize at the EMBO Workshop: In Situ Structural Biology (https://blogs.embl.org/events/2021/01/15/best-poster-awards-in-situ-structural-biology-workshop/) and was also invited to be a panellist for a discussion on the Structural in situ biology of SARS-CoV-2.
