The CPE hosted its first in-person workshop since the start of the pandemic last week.
The Organic Photovoltaic Workshop, organised by Dr Yifan Dong, and Dr Joel Luke, brought speakers form groups that work on OPV within the CPE together, with PhD students and early-stage career researchers giving both tutorial and research talks. The workshop was well attended with over 30 in-person attendees being joined by approximately the same number of people online, and although this new hybrid system did present its technical difficulties it worked well, allowing people to join from all around the world.
We hope that the connections made during this workshop will lead to many new collaborations within the CPE OPV community.
After the success of this workshop, we will also be holding a similar workshop for the perovskite research community later this year, watch this space!
