Interested in a career in Data and Analytics but want to learn more about the field?

In terms of your career, networking can be a very useful tool enabling you to become a better informed candidate and gives you the chance to hear about opportunities that may never get advertised. During the spring term we will be hosting four virtual networking events for you to take part in that will follow a panel/forum format.

Our first networking event, Data Science Career Panel is scheduled for Thursday 3 February from 18.00 - 19.30. If you have an interest in a career in data science and want to learn more about what it is like and how to get into it, this is the event for you.

Our speakers include three Imperial alumni who are joining us to share their advice and career tips:

  • Vanita Kalaichelvan, Data Scientist, QuantumBlack (MEng Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Imperial)
  • Daniel Fernandez Llaneza, Real World Evidence Data Scientist, AstraZeneca (MRes Drug Discovery and Development, Imperial)
  • Shaun Fendi Gan, Applied Scientist, Uber (BSc Physics, Imperial)
