Feel more prepared for a video interview by using Shortlist.Me to practice.

All students and recent graduates can now use Shortlist.Me to access a library of interview questions, record your answers and use the feedback tool to reflect on your performance to help you improve. Interviews can be nerve wracking at the best of times so why not make use of this practice resource to build your confidence!

Don’t forget to also keep an eye out for our Career Essentials – Interviews seminars that are available to book via JobsLive throughout the academic year. During these sessions you can find out what the interviewer is looking for in candidates, the types of questions you might encounter, how to prepare effectively and improve your interview skills further to help you secure that job.

If you are looking for written guides to help you plan your career path then we have a selection available for you to view online. These include booklets on CVs and Cover Letters and Career Planning and Successful Applications. Check them out today!

We also offer one to one appointments every weekday. During these appointments we can review your CV or cover letter, support you with finding an internship or graduate job or help you figure out a career plan, even if you have no ideas! Appointments are currently run in-person at the South Kensington campus or online via Microsoft Teams. They can be booked in advance from 07.00 the day before via JobsLive.

The Careers Service website also includes detailed information on planning your career plus advice on all aspects of the application and interview process.
