Medicine graduates celebrate long-awaited ceremony at the Royal Albert Hall
Faculty of Medicine graduates celebrate their achievements in ceremonies held for those who completed their degrees during the pandemic.
Hundreds of Imperial graduates finally got the chance to celebrate their academic achievements at two catch-up graduation ceremonies at the Royal Albert Hall this March. The College’s regular graduation programme had been interrupted by the COVID-19 pandemic, which saw large in-person gatherings cancelled at various points during the past two years.
Writing to graduates at both ceremonies, Professor Jonathan Weber, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, said: “Your commitment and capacity to adjust to new circumstances is a huge credit to you and all those who have supported you along the way.
“Thank you for your patience in waiting so long for your well-deserved day of celebrations. I hope that as an alumnus you will continue to be part of our dynamic community.”
We spoke to some of our graduates about their time at Imperial and plans for the future:
