CSEI - BCA: Executive Education Programme on Developing leadership capability in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA)
On 16-19 May 2022 we were delighted to host our friends from Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA) who attended our Executive Development Programme on leadership capability in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD). Organized by Imperial College London’s Centre for Systems Engineering and Innovation, with the BCA, and co-directed by Dr Jeni Giambona and Dr Ana Mijic, this programme supports the development of leadership capability in Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) and Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD).
Designed for C-Suite Executives, Senior Management and top decision makers of the sector, this programme was a combination of learning journeys, keynote lectures, and executive discussions with leading academics, DfMA experts and practitioners from UK to understand how DfMA process from design, fabrication to assembly can be optimized and how to apply digital strategy to DfMA projects.
The course drew on leading research and practice to involve talks, activities and learning journeys that gave an overview of:
Digital engineering and innovation management
- Optimisation, logistics and design tools
- Site visits and industrial talks
- Practical challenges and DfMA digital strategy
We look forward to hosting the next BCA cohort!
