Congratulations to Delia Brustur, for successfully defending her thesis!
Delia was a PhD student within the Tate group specialising in immunomodulation of metastatic cancers utilising covalent fragment drug discovery for treatment. Prior to this, Delia also completed her MRes in chemical biology at Imperial College London, exploring structure-guided development of monomeric GTP-ase covalent ligands targeting metastatic breast cancer. Many thanks to Delia’s examiners: Newcastle’s chair of medicinal chemistry: Prof. Mike Waring and Imperial’s Prof. Alan Armstrong.
Congratulations to Delia, and good luck with her future scientific endeavours!
