The Love Makers at Dalkey Book Festival
Aifric Campbell discussed her novel and artificial intelligence at the Dublin festival.
The Dalkey Book festival in Dublin, now in its 12th year took, place in mid-June this year. A three-day event uniting writers and readers from around the globe, the 2023 festival had an impressive line up of speakers. Among them was the CLCC's own Aifric Campbell discussing the impact of artificial intelligence via her own work The Love Makers.
Love in the Time of AI was held on 17th June in the Masonic Lodge, Dublin with tickets selling out in advance. Moderated by Patrick Freyne, author and journalist at The Irish Times, the public engagement event explored themes from The Love Makers and the future of human machine intimacy.
