CLCC tutor Debbie Trentham has authored a book exploring the 40 most important and inspiring botanic gardens from across the globe.
Congratulations to Debbie Trentham, whose book Botanic Gardens of the World was published by Greenfinch on 28 September.
Debbie leads our Garden History Adult Education courses, and is currently teaching Italian Renaissance Gardens on Tuesday Evenings.
The coffee-table book, which includes some startlingly beautiful photographs, explores the history and wonder of 40 of the most inspiring botanic gardens on the planet.
As the blurb reads, Botanic Gardens of the World is "Filled with rare and beautiful plants and incredible locations from around the globe - from Norway to Morocco, Kyoto to Kew, Brooklyn to Buenos Aires, and Madrid to Malaysia - this book will transport you to far-flung places and bygone eras, and consider the future of our botanical havens and the natural wonders they protect."
