Congratulations to Sarah Hassan, for successfully defending her thesis!
Sarah was a President’s Scholar ICB CDT PhD student within the Tate group specialising in protein prenylation in cancer. She previously completed an Imperial College MRes in drug discovery and development in the group, researching around the identification of the first structurally validated covalent ligands of the small GTPase RAB27A.
Many thanks to Sarah’s examiners: University of Leeds’ Associate Professor of Chemical Biology Dr Megan Wright, and Imperial’s Dr Matt Child as internal examiner.
Congratulations to Sarah, and good luck with her future postdoc within the Tate group!
