Six Imperial students are being recognised for their exceptional skills and achievements by making it through to the grand final.

With over 5,000 applications processed for the targetjobs Undergraduate of the Year Awards 2024, congratulations are in order for our six Imperial students who have made it to this year’s final. These students have successfully made it through the challenging application process, all the way to the end, so they should be beyond proud of themselves! This is an enormous achievement, a true testament to their hard work and effort.

This year’s Imperial nominations and their categories are:

• - Lolézio Viora Marquet (Electronics and Information Engineering) – The AI and Robotics Undergraduate of the Year
• Muhammad Hamzah Chariwala (Design Engineering) - The AI and Robotics Undergraduate of the Year
• Karthik Krishnan (Aeronautical Engineering) - The Engineering Undergraduate of the Year
• Oscar Lazaro (Mechanical Engineering) - The Engineering Undergraduate of the Year
• Bhavya Sharma (Electronics and Information Engineering) – The Management Undergraduate of the Year
• Yassine Serrhini (Electrical and Electronic Engineering) – The Celebrating Resilience Undergraduate of the Year

The annual competition is aimed at finding the UK's best undergraduates in 12 categories. Each award is partnered by a prominent graduate recruiter who provides a fantastic prize for the winner, which could include a paid internship or a trip abroad, among other exclusive opportunities.

This year’s 12 winners will be announced out of 120 finalists at the Grand Final in Canary Wharf on Friday 26 April. The finalists will be celebrated with a networking reception and lunch before the announcement of the well deserving winners by celebrity guest speaker Sue Perkins.
